Impressions of the course and the conditions

Athletes and officials had the chance this morning to inspect the race course, on a day when the temperature reached 31° in the shade. Here are their impressions, gathered for IAAF Internet by Mark Butler:

"I think this is a very fast course, good for the track runners" : Shetsu Murao, Team Coach with the Japanese Federation and formerly the coach of World Marathon Champion Douglas Wakihurii
