Ran what was then the world’s fastest ever 200 time of 19.61w (beating Michael Johnson) in 90; set world indoor 60m rec of 6.48 in 91 (mark since broken by Andre Cason). Won overall GP in 90. Holds world 4x100 rec (37.40 at Barcelona & Stuttgart) and 4x200 rec (Santa Monica TC, 1:18.68 in 94). Injuries have hampered his career since the 9.85 100. Legally blind in right eye (result of childhood accident). Married to sprinter Michelle Finn (11.05/22.39; 92 Olympic 4x100 gold medallist); son, Cameron Malik, born in Sep 94.
