expected in Palermo for the eighth edition of the IAAF World Half Marathon Championships,
set to take place in the Sicilian capital on the morning of Sunday 3 October. More>>>
The
eighth edition of the IAAF World Half Marathon Championships will take place in Palermo,
Sicily, on 3 October 1999.
The half marathon
(21,097.5 metres) will be run on a course traced through the historical centre of
Palermo.The athletes will run three laps of the 7,032.5 metre circuit, with the
start/finish line on the "Foro Italico."
