Ron ClarkeRon Clarke (AUS): A prolific world record breaker at all distances from 2 miles to the hour, and the first to break 13:30 for 5000m and 28:00 for 10,000m, he never succeeded in winning a major title.
Said AouitaSaid Aouita (MAR): The first man to break 13 minutes and Olympic champion in 1984, he was unbeaten at the distance for ten years and established world records also at 1500m, 2000m and 3000m.
