Information
Was the first athlete over 18.00 in triple jump; set 3 world records in triple jump, including the actual one of 18.29 in WCh 1995. Previously he refused to compete on Sunday for religious reasons, so he bypassed WCh 1991. At triple jump won GWG 1998, European Championships both indoor and outdoor in 1998; was 2nd at GP overall 1996 and at Commonwealth Games 1990 and 1994. European Cup: 1995-1996-1997-1998-2002 (1st)
