Was Kenya's first senior woman track world champion in 1997. Was reinstated after disqualification in WCh 1993, when she became the youngest medallist. Won GP 5000 in 1997 and 10000 at AfG 1995. 3rd at World CC 1995. Sister of Jepkemboi Florence.
