World junior record holder at 400m, 4x100 and 4x400. Won 400m and 4x400 at EC 1990 and 1998. At 400m won 2 EI, 3 ECp. At 4x400 won WCh 1997 (3rd 1991), WJ 1988, WI 1991, WCp 1998, 3rd OG 1996. At 4x100 won WJ 1988 and 3rd WCh 1991. Drugs ban in 1992.
