Won all the great Championships from WIC Paris 1997 to WC Edmonton 2001. Jumped 8.96 at altitude in Sestriere in 1995: it would have been a world record, but it was not forwarded by the Italian Federation for ratification, due to the interference caused by an official standing in front of wind gauge (showing +1.2). Won GWG 1998, WUG 1997, CAG 1998, CAC 1997, Pan American senior (1995 and 1999) and junior (1991) and Ibero-American Championships 1992. Cousin of the hurdler Aliuska López.
