An IAAF National Member Federation is a national governing body for amateur athletics affiliated to the IAAF. Only one Member from each country or territory may be affiliated to the IAAF and must abide by the rules and regulations of the IAAF. At present, the total number of countries and territories affiliated to the IAAF stands at 210 - more than belong to any other sporting organisation or even the United Nations.
